Beatrice Antoinette Mboge

Beatrice Antoinette Mboge is presently the Director of Corporate Services at the GCCI. She joined the Chamber in 2005 and is responsible for Membership; Employers Committee and supervises the Trade Fair Gambia International amongst others. As a Chartered Librarian, she is an Associate of the British Library Association and holds a Bachelor of Library Studies from Loughborough University of Technology, England. Prior to joining GCCI, Mrs. Mboge acquired 27 year experience in Information Management, International Development and Gender Advocacy. She has previously held the position of InCountry Resource Centre (IRC) Manager, United States Peace Corps (USPC). She was also Peace Corps / Washington Regional IRC Trainer for Africa where she trained Peace Corps staff in Benin, Burkina Faso, Eritrea, Ghana, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Mali, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo and Zambia. Additionally, she served as Librarian at the Gambia National Library. She was elected as President of the Gambia Library and Information Service Association (GAMLISA) and later became Chairman of Gambia National Library Service Authority.
